Este Verano

This summer I have an amazing opportunity to serve with BCMissions for three weeks in Peru. It will be my second international missions trip, and I can’t wait to get back on the field. In Peru, we will be living in tents in the jungle and sharing the Bible through story-ing. To confess a little, I’ve never actually been camping. The environment that we’ll be in will definitely be a new one for me, but I’m confident that my lack of wilderness skills will not be too big of a set-back. But most importantly, I’m really eager to see how God is going to move during those three weeks. I’m hoping to be challenged, to rise to it, and hoping to see God do things that I can’t do. The reason that I enjoy missions work so much is exactly that; experiencing God and sharing with others, so that they too might share in this faith and in this confidence in Christ. It is still early yet in the preparation process, but as flights are booked, passport photos taken, and as you go about your summer, I hope that you will remember me, and those traveling with me and elsewhere, and check back here to see what’s going on in Peru and with this trip. Please remember us in your prayers, and stick around to see God’s amazing answers.
